My wife can't praise me enough for getting the Cuisinart it is fortunate for me that Cuisinart is synonymous with Quality and a familiar name to me. Also fortunate that they offer many sets which very in a range of prices, I don't have a lot but by God, my wife is cooking on a Cuisinart Cookware set.

This set is everything you would expect from Cuisinart. It's weight is ample, and of course clean up a breeze. The variety of sizes will do any and everything you want and there are enough lids to go around. It is suggested to hang the pots, but I have put them in the cupboard and so far so good. Fabulous price and quality.

Really good set. Don't use metal or plastic utensils. You don't want to scratch the surface. Silicon only. Also, hand wash only. You have to take care of it if you want it to last long.

I recently purchased this cookware set as a gift to myself for Christmas. We invited family and friends over Christmas Eve to eat a pre-cooked Gumbo. I placed the gumbo in the largest pot of the set, put lid on it, and put the heat on the lowest setting. After about 15 minutes my wife and I were shocked to hear a loud pop (similar to a gunshot). Apparently the pressure had grown such that no moisture was able to escape the pot with the lid on it, and it finally just gave way to the pressure. Like a car windshield, the glass shattered into a thousand pieces and, naturally, a great many of said pieces plopped into the gumbo below. I also would have figured there would be a film of some sort to bind the glass pieces together on the "off chance" that such a thing would happen. Well, there wasn't. The pieces freely fell all over the floor and in the gumbo. I expect to be compensated for this, as this has never happened with any of my other cookware in the past (Glass lids and all). Beware, folks. This set looks nice but is no good. I'm open to suggestions and/or comments re: this situation.

I thought this set was absolutely great until I learned that teflon is being phased out. Get orgreenics or similar.By-the-way my eggs stick in these pans and yes, with oil. But they seem very durable and hopefully will not start seasoning my food with teflon flakes like so many other pans i've owned.

All is well with the set so far with a couple of exceptions; the big sauté pan which has an uneven bottom. I will be working with Cuisinart to get that replaced. The glass tops do not have a vent hole which makes using a thermometer difficult and causes the tops to rumbled when something is in heavy boil mode. Lastly, the tops are very finicky to seat onto the pots and can easily slide off when moving if not seated correctly. Other than that, I'm liking them so far.
