Das Design des Dressing Shakers ist sehr schön, auch das er aus Glas und nicht aus Plastik ist, finde ich sehr gut. Bei dem doch sehr sportlichen Preis, hätte ich allerdings ein etwas höherwertiges, dickeres Glas erwartet - so macht er doch einen etwas billigen Eindruck. In Anbetracht der geringen Auswahl an Dressing Shakern aus Glas aber sicherlich eine Überlegung wert.

Ich war des Lobes voll.Aber jetzt, keine 8 Wochen nach dem Kauf, ist auch an unserem Dressing Shaker Eva Solo der Verschluss-stopfen-ring gerissen, wodurch die Behauptung "tropffrei" überhaut nicht mehr zutrifft.Wie bekomme ich Ersatz? Update: Persistence and trust in Eva Solo functional design paid off. I noticed that there was oil leaking around the rubber stopper. I thoroughly cleaned and dried the stopper, refilled the carafe and pushed the stopper very firmly into place. No oil leaks out around it, and the dressing shakes out just fine. Best to turn it completely upside down when dispensing. Now we love it and might purchase another.I love my Eva Solo carafes, tea makers, coffee makers - I have multiples of the ones I love. This dressing carafe looked to me like a real winner and we were excited to get it. The opening is wide enough for adding ingredients and cleaning. We make our own simple salad dressing with oils, balsamic and dijon dressing. When I could NOT shake the dressing through the ridiculously narrow stopper spout, I pulled the stopper off to pour. That is a frustration every time. It is annoyingly difficult to pull off. I dropped the chopped garlic, and kept the dressing as thin as possible. No help. It will not pour through this spout. For the price, the beautiful design doesn't overcome the functional glitch for us. I'll be purchasing a simple cork stopper to replace the spout. So we now have a pretty ridiculously priced bottle and I have to spend a couple more dollars to get a well-fitting cork stopper. Disappointing.

I couldn't be happier with this dressing shaker. I always make my own dressing, and I usually have some left over and store it in the fridge for later use. In the past I would store it in a cup, or small tupperware, or something else non-ideal for serving it again. I've thought about getting some product to keep my dressing in before, but nothing I'd ever seen really seemed exactly right. Then I came across this one, and thought it looked nice and had the features I'd want. Sure enough, it is perfect. It is pretty, elegant, a fine addition to my dining table. It is very easy to fill, and the stopper fits & seals perfectly. It's easy to shake up the dressing before pouring. Best feature of all? The way the pouring spout is designed. Absolutely perfect way to evenly dispense exactly how much dressing you want. It shows off my dressings well, it stores them in the fridge, it's easy to use, and it serves perfectly. I was a little concerned about how delicate it seems - the glass feels quite thin. I thought it might get broken too easily. But we haven't been gentle with it, and I even subject it to some temperature change - I'll put it in hot water when I take it out of the fridge to get the oil in the dressing back to liquid form in time for dinner - I always forget to take it out of the fridge 'til the salad's on the table, oops! It's holding up just fine and I'm no longer worried at all.I just want to reiterate what was the best surprise for me of all - this thing pours dressing like a dream! I'll never go back to any other way to serve salad dressing.

So many salad dressing shakers try to do too much. They are covered in measurements, or recipes, or have fragile plastic mechanisms for mixing the dressing, or lids that are impossible to remove when oily. Or they leak. All of that stuff just complicates what should be simple. This shaker gets it right, and looks great on the table.The shaker comes in three pieces: the bottle, the central stopper/spout, and the top cap. To fill, remove the stopper. To mix, replace the stopper and cap and shake. To pour, remove the top cap and pour through the spout. The spout even has a double rim to catch drips. If you have a chunkier dressing that won't fit through the spout, pull out the stopper and pour directly from the bottle. Since the cap is flat on top, you can turn the stopper over on its cap and set it down without getting anything oily.I clean mine by putting in hot water and soap and shaking it. Rinse the parts with hot water and you're done.
