Great corkscrew once you figure out how to use. Put on the cork and just keep twisting and twisting and the corkscrew pierces the cork then lifts it out.

At last a corkscrew that is nice looking and a joy to use, so now thrown out all my old ones. I found that it is easy to use when using the foil cutter and opening bottles. Keeping in my kitchen draw which doesn't take up much space.

Much better design compared to the lever arm corkscrew, same amount of effort needed but it can't nip your fingers! Foil cutter is a bit trick to use as you need to push the bottle against it, but works well.
