Quality product that you expect from Nordic Ware. However do not use a light fluffy cake. A pound cake works best to get the shape and to come out easily. If the cake is to soft it doesn't create a clean basket look. There is a recipe that comes with the pan that work pretty well just lacked a little flavor for my taste. Also, grease and flour every nook and cranny of these pans. Because you can't go around the edge with a knife to loosen it you have to make sure that you can get these cake-lets outs. I sprayed with cooking spray then took a paper towel and wiped it all into the weaving. A basting brush would work well too. Then I put a spoonful of flour into each one and tapped it around until all of the inside is coated. I tap out any extra flour. This allowed me a nice release for my beautiful strawberry shortcake baskets.

Liked it, bought 2. These are great for quick desserts like boxed cake mix (milk instead of water for better texture) and lots of berries with whipped cream. Easy, no fuss, pretty dessert when needed asap. Thanks Nordic Ware.

I have the Nordic Ware honeycomb pan as well and love it. This one is just as durable and easy to clean. Also helps provide a nice even bake.

Nordic Ware is a great brand. This pan works like a charm. I use Bakers Secret and nothing stuck whatsoever - the cakes came out perfectly. The shape is almost like the brick surround of a castle. Cool!
