These work fine. We use the tap water and have not noticed any funny taste or white stuff on the cubes. We have had no issue with these. Beware though, these cubes are HUGE the don't fit in most of our drinking glasses. They look cool with two in a pitcher though.

They’re not kidding. The colossal cube is just that. As a matter of fact, I don’t have a glass large enough to fit. They’re easy to use and are exactly as advertised. Fill with (vigorously) boiled water to ensure crystal clear blocks.

I bought these because my pup is a serial chewer and loves ice cubes....so I though....why not make her massive sized ice cubes?!?! For a little bit of flavor, I add a bit of chicken stock into the water to give the cubes a little flavor. Either way they keep her busy until the ice cube melts!

love these molds!it's a conversation starter and melts slow so i can really enjoy my drink.sometimes it's difficult to get the ice out of the mold, some ice "cubes" are cracked or crack when trying to get out of the mold.on the negative, the molds are rather big!

Works decent but the cubes will have cracks in them. Not as cool as the picture shows. i am still trying to figure out how I can make them more clear. Way more cool than normal cubes though. Makes any drink sweet looking

I really enjoy these molds, but I wish there was a better way to release the cube from the plastic. I usually place the mold over a glass and put hot water in the top of the overturned mold. It works (eventually), but I feel like there should be a better way.

Definitely makes a big ice cube. A bit tricky to use and I think the giant cube makes drinks too cold. But my kids think it's fun to add fruit to them and put them in water or juice.

These cube ice molds work great, super easy to fill/close and they come out pretty well too. Need to be aware that they are a little bigger than the balls, so make sure you have cocktail glasses that they'll fit into!
